Every time we lay him down there, as soon as he catch's a glimpse of "Barney" he just lights up and gets all excited.  He's way too cute.

Some of you may not know this, but Lisa has an infinity with Elmo.  She is doing her best to make sure Xander carries on this heritage. :-)

Xander Meets Mickey

This certainly wasn't Xander's first visit to Disneyland; he had been there many times before while still inside Lisa, but this was the big one.  On his first trip to "The Park" (as we like to call it) he was able to meet Mickey Mouse face-to-face.  As you can see, Xander is beside himself with excitement over this momentous occasion. (LOL)

All I can say is, "thank goodness for the baby care center."  As you would imagine, even the place Disney provides for parents to feed and change their baby is done with excellence.  This baby care center has a nice quiet room for Lisa to feed Xander as well as other rooms for changing his diapers and even a place to sit and play with him if a break is needed from all the excitement outside.  This was very cool and a nice little discovery.

Beautiful

I know every parent thinks their child is cute...and rightly so.  But I gotta tell ya...Xander isn't just cute in my eyes, he's unbelievably handsome.  Lisa had a little photo-shoot with him on Thursday and then emailed these pics to me at work.  I was just awestruck at how beautiful he is.  It's the testimony of God's grace in my life...because I certainly don't deserve what I've been given in Lisa and Xander.

The Joy of Xander

He tends to fall asleep in the middle of meal time.  We have to try and rustle him up so he can continue to chow down.

Xander finally made it to church.  We are increasing our membership 1 person at a time.  :-)

Mom caught Xander & Dad catching a few Z's this afternoon.  This is one of the benefits of Xander not being on the biliblanket any more.  We can just kick back and chilax where ever we want to.

Xander's First Meal

Well, not really.  But he did get to enjoy the heavenly aroma of a Double-Double Animal when he was only 4 hours old.  I suppose it's good to get him hooked as soon as possible.

Xander and Dad chilax'n on the couch.  Isn't he amazing?  Everyone says he looks like me, and if that's true, I'm much better looking than I give myself credit for.

Jaundice Therapy for Xander

Xander has Jaundice and needs to be on light-therapy.  By "light," I literally mean electric light.  In this picture you can see the glow from the fiber-optic light he needs to lay on.  This light helps break down the Jaundice in a way his liver cannot since he is so young.

He will need to be on this for the next couple days; maybe less depending on results from this mornings blood test.

(By the way...this is metaphorical for soccer, NOT basketball.  Xander will play professional soccer for Chelsea FC and he will buy his parents a huge cottage in the English country side because he loves us so much)

Xander Is Too Cute

This is the cutest picture so far.  Lisa had just fed Xander and she sat him on her lap to burp him.  He kept trying to lay his head down and once he finally figured it out he completely crashed-out.  He is so mellow and relaxed...we are so blessed.
