Getting Ready For Xander’s 1st Birthday Party

This is the cake that Lisa made from scratch; it’s a banana cake with a cream cheese frosting and graham cracker crumbs. It’s gonna be Xander’s first taste of processed sugar.

This is a carrot cake we bought at Costco. Lisa took it to the “next-level” and added the trucks and dirt (graham cracker crumbs).

Having Fun in New Hampshire - Vacation

Here a number pictures of us during our time at Uncle Jim’s, Aunt Melinda’s and Grandma Charlotte’s house in Manchester, NH. The pictures of the lake is what you see from their backyard, but so is the bulldozer…so I guess you have to take the peaceful with the annoying.

Fort McClary - Kittery Point, Maine - Vacation

We stumbled on this very old (and very cool) historical military fort, Fort McClary. We had a good time just exploring the fort and enjoying the view.

Portsmouth, New Hampshire - Vacation

Just hanging out in the beautiful coastal town of Portsmouth, NH.

New Hampshire - The Lakes Region - Vacation

From PDX we went to the Lakes Region in New Hampshire. We got to hang out on Lake Winnisquam with Lisa’s Aunt & Uncle. It was incredibly beautiful, as well as Xander was able to take his first boat ride.

Xander also learned how to navigate a stair (which kept him pretty content for extended periods of time).

Oregon Coast - Vacation

This was Xander’s first time to the beach. We were in Cannon Beach, OR and it was a beautiful day.
