Playing In The Snow

On Friday night after work we drove up to Mt. Baldy to let X-Man play in the snow. This was his first real experience with snow and he had a blast. Not only was there 6 inches of new snow on the ground, but there was snow falling from the sky. At first he didn't know what to think of it, but as soon as Mommy hit Daddy with a snowball, he knew this was something he could get into.

Goofing Around & Being Silly

One thing for sure, Xander loves to have fun. He can make any occasion a reason to be goofy and just have fun. He keeps his Mommy and Daddy smiling, which is a blessing for sure.
Balancing his milk while eating his lunch.
He found a good use for one of those socks they give you when trying on shoes.
Just "Chillaxin" in his dump-truck.

Busted!

The other night I was making dinner while Xander was running around playing. All of sudden I realized it was way too quiet and I ran into the living room to make sure he was alright. This is what I discovered.
I had just put some miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cups into a dish and put them out. I forgot that he was now tall enough to reach them. He helped himself, sat down on the floor, unwrapped one and began to enjoy chocolate for the very first time. It was really cute.

He looked at me with that questioning look of, "Am I in trouble?" When he realized he wasn't, he crammed the whole thing in his mouth and enjoyed the reward.

Los Angles Train Museum

We went to the Los Angeles Train Museum after Christmas and it was so cool. Xander had a great time as you can see.
Actually, we all had a great time; it's one of those things you always talk about doing, but never get around to doing. When you finally do take the time, you wonder why you waited so long. It really was a blast to check out all the history.
He was a natural; it was like he knew exactly what to do.
This was a little model train that you get to ride around the park; it was very cool.
Grandma had a great time with Xander too.

Xander Dancing With Frosty Some More

Xander just loved dancing with Frosty.

Xander's Christmas gift from Mom and Dad

The key phrase for any special Christmas present is, "Some Assembly Required."
But it was all worth it because Xander loved his new kitchen and BBQ.
He loves to serve up coffee to anyone who comes over.

Setting Up The CHRISTmas Tree

Xander at Lowe's picking out the perfect Christmas Tree.
Telling Daddy exactly which Christmas Tree he picked out for us.
Where's Xander when the hard work has to be done?
Oh yeah…sitting in his supervisor's chair making sure Daddy isn't slacking off.
Here he's showing Mommy how to decorate the Christmas Tree.
He sure know's how to get the job done doesn't he?
